  • Is your service free?

Licensed agents are usually paid a commission by the insurance company when someone enrolls in a plan. In most cases this doesn't change the premium you pay — the plan costs the same whether you enroll on your own or with an agent's help.

  • Which states are you licensed in?

Insurance agents must be licensed in the state where you live in order to sell you a health plan. If you live in a state where we're not licensed, we won't be able to enroll you, but we're happy to point you in the right direction.

  • Do I have to do anything to renew?

Many individual and Marketplace plans renew automatically if you take no action. If your plan is discontinued, you may be moved into a similar plan.

  • Can I switch plans mid-year?

For most individual and Marketplace plans, open enrollment is the main time each year to change plans. Certain life events can open a Special Enrollment Period that lets you change plans mid-year.
